This project consists of extensive spalling repair by our trained professional staff and the painting of the interior and exterior of this high rise residential building.

The sheer size of the building, all 26 floors, equates to a mammoth undertaking that we at Dafco are uniquely equipped for and are still able to maintain the same level of quality on this scale as we offer on any residential painting project

We are at the halfway mark on the exterior and will begin on the interior once completed.

The spalling repair at the halfway mark is already in excess of 1100 linear meters.

The damaged cement removed is over 9 ton ( Equivalent to 9 VW Polos in weight)

In order to carry out the repairs (pics below) we remove the cement from the affected area to reveal the steel reinforcing once the metal is made bare the rust is removed by a hand grinder and chemically treated with the ABE Epidermix Structural Primer and the ABE Dura Fr spalling repair kit. Our trained team will then build up the cement to ensure you would never have known we had stripped it in the first place. This will eliminate concrete swell, rust marks developing and reduce future maintenance as well as structural problems.

The current estimate for paint consumption on this building is sitting at around 8200L of the hard wearing Dulux Weather Guard.
